Dr John Gray, in his book, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, quite conveniently
summarizes the different emotional needs of men and woman. What he states is that we all have these love needs and it's the order in which they are received that is different. For example, looking at the table below, as a general rule, a man needs trust first, whereas a woman needs caring. We all want these 12 emotions fulfilled, and it's the order and sequence that varies.
